Connect with the new Smirnoff Mule

A night of circus-inspired revelry commenced with the new Smirnoff Mule in the center ring. Located in the WHPR offices and the courtyard in Ely Place, a host of colorful circus performers beckoned guests to join in the festivities with their extravagant costumes and behavior. The night was all set to “experience the extraordinary” with the Smirnoff Mule.

Thursday’s Launch Party was well equipped with a circus tent, top hats, a Ring Master, flame-thrower, stilt-walkers, and of course the Smirnoff Mule. An exceptional treat of the evening was guest appearance from international d.j. and style icon, Jade Jagger.

The mystique and allure of the circus provided guests with a night of great entertainment, delightful appetizers, and an exceptional drink, the Smirnoff Mule. The music throughout the night was an uplifting mix up of classic and contemporary tunes.

Whether hoola-hooping was your thing or chatting with guests was more your style, the night was a grand party. Come one! Come all! Thursday night was quite the celebration, and the Smirnoff Mule provided an exceptional twist to the fun. The Connector team enjoyed themselves at this event and would like to thank the wonderful people at WHPR for putting on a great show!

Connector @ the Arnotts Project Launch Party

What a great event last night down at Arnotts … yes Arnotts !  They put on a huge party in the store for 1,000 guests and congrats to Arnotts for putting on such a great event to launch the Arnotts Project.  Met a bunch of friends there and it was packed for a unique night out including a fashion show, DJs, break dancing, 2 live bands & food & drink for all.

Re-connecting with Jennifer Maguire

In November Jennifer Maguire (The Apprentice, BBC 2008) spoke at the ‘Connector 4′ Event & was a very popular guest & I thought it was a great success inviting her along to share her story with us.

In return, I was invited along to checkout the new Bella Makeover salon/studio on Monday night & it really is a nice premises awash with friendly experts in makeup, hair, styling & photography.  The salon/studio is very centrally located, just beside St. Stephen’s Green shopping centre. Here is a wee photo of Jennifer & yours truly.  What lovely shoes she’s wearing !  Keep up the good work Jennifer !

Connect with Barry's Tea

Thinkhouse PR & Barrys Tea organised a really interesting evening with tea and cakes in Cooke’s Cafe on South William Street on Thursday.  Two of Berlin’s top designers were over for a presentation with the Irish design & tea loving community.

I went with a couple of fellow connectors & I met Chewy fromThinkhouse PR there who was also at the November Connector.  He introduced me to Damien Gahan from Circus Store who is pictured above.

Circus Store is a fashion collective of four individuals; Aisling Farinella, Fiona Mullen, Damien Gahan, and Ciara O’Donovan who work together to create a retail space and gallery which reflects their individual fashion aspirations. Circus stocks an eclectic variety of directional mens and womens designers exclusive to Ireland, every piece is carefully choosen for its design aesthetic as well as its construction.

Key seasonal designers include; Marjan Pejoski, Camilla Staerk, Unconditional, Henrik Vibskov, and Gaspard Yurkievich. The store also stocks a small selection of ‘one off’ collectible vintage pieces from designers such as Christian Dior, Issey Miyake and Sonia Rykiel.

I may pop in there as I do like the sound of Uncondiitional …

I met Paul Alexander at Jennifer Maguire’s Party Evening in her new salon.  Paul is creating some very nice shirts & ties on the ‘Paul Alexander’ label but I have no web site for you to link to … yet.

I meant to ask him why he had two first names but maybe I thought better of it …more soon about the eveningin Jennifer’s place.

Connector Meetup November – Booked Out !

This ‘social networking social event’ for the 13th November in the Odessa Club has proven to be hugely popular and we only have 100 places and they are now reserved unfortunately.
